Strong winds and small waves, the best conditions for those who are just getting started on wave riding.
This region is well known for having the most reliable and strong winds of the whole Brazilian coast, making it very safe for kite practicing, with no real consequences of falling down or making any mistakes.
You can expect easy conditions to improve your wave techniques and of course: a lot of fun with an amazing views.
With Surfinsemfim and Guilly Brandão coaching, you will be easily guided trough the basic steps, taking your skills to the next level!
On this first day we will start at Rancho do Peixe with a briefing and assessment of the riders skills to set our goals and get introduced onto the wave riding skills we will use.
We will do a downwinder of 8 km with small but fun waves, perfect to practice our first steps into wave riding and Guilly will be shooting with a gopro the action on the water.
After a refreshment break, we do a second session at Barraca do Zé Maria, shooting videos from the participants enjoying the friendly conditions at placa.
Sleep at Rancho do Peixe.
Day 3: Rancho do Peixe –Guriú (25km)
After a replenishing breakfast at Rancho do Peixe we will watch the images from the day before and do our video analyses, to get the feedback from the coach on the participants performances and get the tips for improvement.
Around midday we shall leave for another downwind to Barraca do Zé Maria, putting the tips and guidance into practice. We stop there for refreshment before heading to Jeri and then Guriú while shooting images with the gopro.
We go back by car to Jeri and the iconic Vila Kalango. Where we will sleep for the night.
Day 4: Vila Kalango – Tatajuba (20 km)
Just as the morning before, we will have breakfast followed by our video review.
Around 11:00 am we should start our downwind for the day, from Jericoacoara to Tatajuba.
The first stretch will be from Jeri to Guriú, 8 km of super fun side to side offshore wind with small and friendly waves to play around. We stop for refreshments and a little rest and then keep on going for another 12km of super fun riding all the way to Tatajuba.
This night we will sleep at the charming Pousada La Ventana.
Day 5: Tatatjuba – Moréias (17km)
Our final video review and tips session, by this day all the participants will have for sure upgraded their riding and have a clearer understanding of the techniques they need to incorporate to upgrade their riding.
From Tatajuba to Fazenda Moréias is around 8km of super fun riding, with side to side onshore winds and very friendly small waves. After a refreshment break we will keep on going for another 8km of superb side to side offshore wind conditions all the way to the Camocim River. A perfect book ending to our last stretch of the trip.
This night we will sleep at the amazing Fazenda Moréias, a sanctuary of Nature.
Day 6: Check out.
Even though the coaching has come to an end, we encourage to spend a couple extra nights at Rancho do Peixe or Vila Kalango, to enjoy one of those beautiful venues.
