About the route
This route starts on the lively Prea / Jeri region. We cross 2 brazilian states, and arrive on the incredible Parnaiba river delta, wich we explore for 2 days. Then we finish in Atins, a beautiful village on the Preguica river mouth, the entrance of the Lencois Maranhenses National Park.
Day by Day
4/10/2025 – Check in at Rancho do Peixe, Preá
5/10/2025 – Start in Preá, kite around the Serrote hill, in Jericoacoara. After Jeri, we have a section with offshore wind, until the Guriu river. Stop to eat some sandwiches at Tatajuba, cross the Camocim river and arrive on Maceio, a beach 12 kilometers after Camocim. Expect strong winds on this day. Sleep at Hotel Vila Zen.

6/10/2025 – Kite from Maceio to Barra Grande. We cross from the state of Ceara to the state of Piaui. It is an interesting day, with nice flats for the “twin tipers”, and in high tide some small nice waves.
Distance: 52 kilometers
7/10/2025 – Start in Barra Grande, kite around the harbour in Luis Correa, and stop at Pedra do Sal to have a snack. From this point, things get more exiting. We kite for 10 kilometers to the Parnaiba river mouth, and go inside the river for 7 amazing kilometers and land at Canarias Island, where we sleep at Casa de Caboclo.

8/10/2025 – Magic river day. We start in the Parnaiba river mouth, kite for aprox 10 kilometers, and then walk between the dunes to find a beautifull river. We navigate for 10 kilometers inside the river, an unbeliavable scenery, and then find a passage back to the ocean. We finish the day in a river mouth, where a boat will meet us and take us back to the stunning Poldros Island, where we spend the night. This hotel is a unique place, very special, a natural paradise.
Distance: 25 kilometers
9/10/2025 – Start in front of the Hotel, in the beautifull Ilha dos Poldros, and cross the whole delta kitesurfing. It is a very special day, maybe the best. We kite inside the magic river, and surf beautifull waves, along with some flat sandbanks sections. Night in Tutoia, pousada Jagata.
Distance: 60 kilometers
10/10/2025 – Very good last day. Has some nice waves, and cross onshore wind to go smooth near the shore. We passa Arpoador beach, Paulino Neves, the Small Lencois, and arrive in Atins with an epic navigation inside the river.

During the route, kiters are provided sandwiches, fruit, cereal bars, water, Redbull, and gatorades – more fuel for the rest of the ride!
There will always be captains and guides in the water with our kiters; ensuring safety, reliability, and a great time!
Leave it up to us! Our logistics team makes sure that every trip runs smoothly, getting our guests and their things exactly where they need to be.
Each trip is accompanied by a support vehicle (car and boat, as needed). If anything goes wrong or there is a need to leave the water, our ground support team is there for you!
When all else fails, don’t worry! We have a SOS system in place that will bring help to us anywhere, anytime.
We make sure to keep all of our kiters fresh in new Surfinsemfim apparel at the beginning of the trip.
Once the route is completed, each kiter receives an honorable certificate of completion. Hang it on your wall and add it to your resume!
